Description: Pin/pendant, marked '925 Taxco Mexico' in a circle with makers initials in the center and the #3 spread eagle mark dating this piece to 1945-1979. This is an unusually large trasitional Mexican mask carved from golden obsidian, you can hopefully see the sheen in the picture. The mask is adorned with a large sterling silver headdress with long dangling earrings. Pre-Columbian motif. Large hook on the back to accomodate a chain.

Condition: Good, small chip on mask chin, does not detract.
