Description: Parure consiting of matching necklace, earring and fur clip/brooch, signed crown 'Trifari' on all pieces and 'Pat Pend' on the necklace amd brooch/clip. A gorgeous designed patented by Alfred Phillipe in 1950 and featured in several reference books, including American Costume Jewelry by Brunialti & Brunialti, page 136. This stunning set is plated in gold Trifanium is set with the distinctive crescent shaped glass moonstones. The necklace center section has three links set with the moonstone crescents with a teardrop glass moonstone dangling from each. The crescents are accented with red and clear rhinestones and the joining links are also set with clear rhinestones. The wreath shaped fur clip is a circle of alternating crescent moonstones and red rhinestones surrounding a ring of clear rhinestones. It can also be work as a brooch, on of the fur clip prongs slides into a locking c-clasp. The clip-on earrings are a single teardrop moonstone over a pair of the crescents with the red and clear rhinestone accenting. See two lower left pictures for additional closer views.
