The locket is heavily engraved on both the front and back in a detailed floral design, one side (shown left) is also engraved with the name 'Elsie' in a shield in the center. Superb craftsmanship, the engraving shows details flowers and leaves on one side and a flower inside a diamond shaped frame with more leafy decoration on the other.
