Description: Fur clip, marked 'Trifari' on the clip and 'Pat Pend' and the number '3' on the back. Research shows this clips was patented in 1938 under patent number 108805 by Alfred Phillipe. The Art Deco design rhodium plated fur clip has a cut out leafy design down the middle of the spiral. It's pave set with tiny clear rhinestone and the spiral is outlined with a row of light blue glass shoebutton stones, each with a tiny sapphire blue glass cab in its center. Greek key motifs are at the top on both sides and a trio of clear baguettes are just over the spiral.
