Description: Brooch, unsigned. Huge early 1940's pot metal floral bouquet brooch covered with pave' set clear rhinestones. The centers of each of the four different flowers are set with a different colored larger round rhinestones - red, topaz and amethyst. The long leaf in the middle has a trio of larger green rhinestones set down the middle. This brooch is almost (but not quite) identical to a Trifari design, shown on page 60 on Vintage Jewelry by Leigh Leshner. This piece was made during the same time period by another company, as a copy of that design, the Trifari version was patented by Alfred Phillipe in 1940.
