Description: Unsigned, attributed Miriam Haskell. Miriam Haskell with designer Frank Hess made a fabulous line of brooches and clips with various types of dangling wood beads such as this huge pin with clusters of dangling round wood beads, each capped with a bright yellow plastic flower. What is noteworthy about this brooch is the construction of using braided leather strips to suspend the wood beads. In addition, a cluster of eleven beads with flowers are wired onto the pierced rectangular metal backing. See lower left for back view.
