Description: Victorian yellow gold filled mesh slide bracelet, also known as a garter bracelet, with an amethyst oval set in the slide and gold chain fringe at the end. Marked twice on the back of the slide: 'PAT'D Nov 7 71' and 'PAT.June 25 72' dating this bracelet to the early 1870's. See" Collecting Victorian Jewelry" by C. Size: adjustable up to around 9 1/4" to fit over hand, then can be tightened to fit the wrist. Band is 1/2", slide is 7/8" x 1 1/4"
Condition: Very good, only slight wear to gold fill
