Description: Vintage butterfly brooch; a very 3-dimensional gold plated Monarch butterfly design overlaid in the middle with a smaller silver tone base metal butterfly set with clear rhinestones. Tiny green rhinestone eyes just below the antenna. This design has been seen attributed to Rice-Weiner, though that is unsubstantiated at this time. The two-tone metal design is typical for very late 1930's-early 1940's.
