










Description: Victorian jet buckle or garter brooch; an unusually large, thick and solid piece of jet carved into a buckle motif with flower decorating the top and a circle and dot design around the bottom edge and the buckle. Gold filled pin stem backing with hinged pin and simple c-clasp on the back. C. 1850-1860.
Size: 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1" tall
Condition: Very good, some chipping to a few of the petals and hairline crack on the back
