Description: Set of matching fur clips duette and earrings, signed 'Sterling Corocraft', 'Sterling' on each clip, 'Coro duette' and 'Pat No 1298867' on the pin mechanism. Called Heavenly Swallows, this pair of sterling vermeil birds dates to the mid 1940's. Each gold washed swallow is studded with clear rhinestones and has tiny green rhinestone eyes. The birds are fur clips that can be worn separately or as brooch with the patented duette frame, as shown. See lower left for view of the back and the duette frame.
