Description: Brooch, unsigned. Engraved hollow silver love knot inside a large oval frame. A long bar of Scottish agate is threaded through the knot and capped on either end in silver. Old c-clasp, hinged pin stem extends beyond the edge of the brooch. 1870's.
Size: 1 7/8" x 1 5/8"
Condition: Good: Several dings and dents to silver, 3 on top of the knot, 2 larger dents along the edge of the frame where the silver is joined. One side dent has green verdigres, not visible from the front. Agate is excellent. Priced according to condition.
