Description: Vintage 1950-s-1960's Victoria Taxco mixed metal warrior brooch, designed by Ana Nunez Brilanti and made for the Cony shop. A combination of sterling, brass and copper, the warrior's face is copper, his headdress sterling silver and brass, the head feathers are all three metals and the feathers hanging at his ears and beneath his chin are brass. His eyes and eyebrows are in a contrasting sterling. Can also be worn as a pendant with a hook on the back for a chain. Signed Eagle 12 (pre-1978), 'Cony' (post early 50's for her daughter's shop), '191' (design number) and 'Victoria Taxco Mexico Sterling'
