Description: Vintage black japanned and iridescent purple glass cabochons necklace, clamper bracelet and clip earrings parure. All pieces feature large deep purple oval and teardrop cabochons with a blue iridescence, similar to dragon's breath stones, along with lavender and alexandrite rhinestones. The necklace has five links, each with a teardrop and an oval cabochon, an alexandrite teardrop between and lavender rhinestones along the bottom edge. Links attach to black japanned lavender rhinestone chain with black chain extender and triple rhinestone dangle. The hinged clamper has the purple cabochon pairs at the top with lavender and alexandrite rhinestones around them and lavender rhinestones set along the japanned double band down to the hinge. Earrings are single pair of the cabochons with alexandrite, lavender and amethyst rhinestones. Unsigned, probably Alice Caviness.
